Hollow field maple nebari looking good

I'm keeping this Acer campestre somewhat pot bound this year to control vigour and work on refinement of the ramification. I hope it will go into a much more interesting shallow pot next spring. After stripping back the moss, weeds, accrued organic matter from fertilisation, and editing the roots the nebari (root flare) is looking really good.
