Shohin Yew
A little European Yew (Taxus bacata) that I've been growing from a collected stump with just a few buds more than a decade ago. This spring it went into it a small pot to begin refinement.
Here's the same tree four years ago:
There are hardly any coniferous bonsai in my garden, and even fewer evergreens. If you're familiar with bonsai you will have certainly seen deciduous broad-leaf trees styled like idealised conifers, well here is a conifer styled like a deciduous broad-leaf... or is it? Here is an old yew within the grounds of Kelburn Castle (West Scotland):
