Privet bonsai in autumn

Ligustrum ovalifolium are semi-deciduous in the UK climate, at this time of year the leaves become deeply bronzed, but only on the upper surface. its really rather beautiful, but doesn't show up in tree portraits well due to the upward facing leaves.
